It all started with a dream...

Bob and Judy married young and started a family, soon after they were introduced to the food industry where Bob quickly discovered he had a great passion.  He started out flipping burgers at a drive-in with a small walk up window, ironically named Bob’s.  At 25 he purchased the Ronde-Voo in Lynden and a few years later Bunks Drive-In in Bellingham.  Bob put in long hours to make the businesses a success. During that time the nostalgic drive-ins with car hops were very popular, however, that era would soon come to an end.
 
Bob’s dreams continued…  He wanted to have a successful casual dining restaurant with outstanding food & burgers that everybody loved! Opportunity presented itself  and  in 1982 Bob’s Burgers and Brew was founded.   Bob’s motto is ‘Only the Best’ he set out to offer guests an experience they wouldn’t soon forget -- generous portions, quality food, and great service at an affordable price!  Lynden Bob’s quickly became a local success!  Over the years, Bob & his family opened several restaurants in Whatcom County. In 2004 we opened our first franchise, and a new dream began…  Currently, we have 4 franchise units and plan to open many more throughout the U.S.

Bob’s Burger and Brew Company continues to be led by Bob with his commitment to quality, value and passion for excellence.  He delights in the opening of new restaurants, taking active roles in many different areas and watching his dreams flourish.   He continues to inspire and impact lives of many young adults and staff he comes in contact with…. advocating hard work, emphasizing education and especially, pursuing their dreams…just like he did!
